Experienced Tumbling and Gymnastic Coach
I have 8 years of experience in Tumbling and Gymnastic. I competed at both levels of NCA and UCA. My sophomore year my team won 3rd place in UCA and my junior year we won second place in NCA Nationals. I have trained students ranging from middle school to high school. The high school where I am presently the lay coach won the high school state CHAMPIONSHIP 2009. I am able to SPOT levels 1-5. I am safety certified and can provide an up to date background check. Seeking full-time Coaching Position
I currently work full-time as a staff athletic trainer at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and part-time as the head gymnastics coach for Plainfield High School. Although, I am looking for a full-time gymnastics coach position, as gymnastics is my first true love and passion. Along with athletic training, I also have a degree in Exercise Physiology. I feel that both my degrees give me added value as a gymnastics coach and is the reason that I pursued them in the first place.
I have 9 years of coaching experience (pre-school classes through level 9) and 12 years of competitive gymnastics experience (I competed through level 10). I also have beam and floor routine choreography experience.
